Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing (with dotted reporting to Group Head of Insurance), your key objective is to ensure that Hyphen Group is the leading source of insurance content in the region through our marketing platforms - SingSaver (Singapore), CompareHero (Malaysia), MoneyHero (Hong Kong), Money101 (Taiwan) and MoneyMax (Philippines). 

This role will require you to be an expert in all things related to insurance content and excel in channel optimisation, brand consistency, analytics and optimisation. The position collaborates across all departments, including commercial, customer experience, product and the broader marketing team.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by MoneyHero Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on MoneyHero Group’s behalf.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

This role will require you to be an expert in all things related to insurance content and excel in channel optimisation, brand consistency, analytics and optimisation. The position collaborates across all departments, including commercial, customer experience, product and the broader marketing team.

YOUR TASK

  • Optimise content for search and user experience across all channels including blog, website, social media, email, mobile and video.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand plus consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
  • Take ownership of content strategy, developing campaign messaging frameworks as channel strategy.
  • Be responsible for unpaid traffic targets, building out a plan that can better monetise this traffic.
  • Overseeing the development of a content calendar across all owned channels
  • Being an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
  • Conducting ongoing usability and A/B tests to gauge content effectiveness. Ensuring data is thoroughly analysed and recommendations are made based on those results. Working with content owners to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals.
  • Establishing a workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content. Plus working with technical team to optimise the CMS and page layouts.
  • Conducting periodic competitive audits.
  • Supervising the maintenance of content inventories and matrices.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field. MBA in marketing a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience as a respected leader in multichannel content creation (content agency, publishing, journalism etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, banking, fintech or personal finance industries.
  • Proven editorial skills. Outstanding command of the English and Mandarin language.
  • Ability to evaluate content performance and make timely optimisations to achieve business goals.
  • Training in how to tell a story using words, images, audio, and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience.
  • Creative thinker with out of the box ideas. Obsession with pop culture and current user trends, including up and coming social media channels.
  • Skill at both long-form content creation and real-time (immediate) content creation, including distribution strategies and tactics.
  • Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics.
  • The ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it.
  • Clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content.
  • Familiarity with principles of marketing.
  • Fluency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics), social media marketing applications and social media monitoring. Ideally experience in working with CMS tools.
  • Experience creating a resource or library of content organised indicating SEO and version control.
