We are a purpose-driven, fast-paced start-up looking for a curious, organized and self-motivated individual to join our Group Analytics team in Hong Kong as a Senior Marketing Data Analytics Manager.

In this role you will have the opportunity to help the organization unlock value for our users and business through data.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be focused on managing company wide marketing data which includes ad platform, website, CRM data, etc. and ensure it is easily accessible by all business stakeholders, creating and managing existing automated data pipelines. Also leveraging a mixture of SQL and Python knowledge to analyze our data to develop actionable insights for optimizing marketing performance and providing value to our users.  You will also have the opportunity to support group-level strategic initiatives related to data and work with various stakeholders across MoneyHero Group including Marketing, Product, Technology Business Development, Commercial and Finance teams.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by MoneyHero Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on MoneyHero Group’s behalf.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the consolidation process of various ad platform data (i.e., Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.) into our cloud platforms and normalize the data to allow business stakeholders evaluate marketing performance easily
  • Oversee and manage the work-flow of data quality management, data cleansing and data exchange processes by designing and implementing different rules and best practices
  • Set up and manage ETL processes via the use of Github and our cloud platforms. For instance, set up a new daily job to process raw data from several data sources via Python script and deploy into virtual machine to transform into one meaningful dataset for a specific business use case
  • Leverage Python and SQL skills to perform cross data sources stitching to form unified view of users across different analytics use cases
  • Use quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes from data including, but not limited to, optimizing marketing performance and providing value to our users
  • Perform customer segmentation analysis and assist in activating these segments through Digital Marketing / CRM initiatives throughout the customer journey
  • Develop dashboards and reports to help stakeholders across different functions and markets understand and analyze relevant data including, but not limited to, website, CRM and paid marketing performance
  • Set group-level frameworks for data analysis to enable all company members to use data to unlock value for our users and business
  • Work with cross functional teams to discover the data and analytics requirements for various initiatives and serve as an owner for analytics project
  • Document processes, requirements, and requests
  • Help users help themselves by facilitating learning and through self-service opportunities

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Over 7 years working experience with SQL and Python programming, with focus on analysis and automation
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in analytical / statistical / marketing fields
  • Solid knowledge and experience in data cleaning, data quality control
  • Having working experience to work with digital analytics data is highly preferable, especially experience querying Google Analytics data via BigQuery 
  • Experience in utilizing cloud platform (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) to manage data storage and pipeline is a must 
  • Experience in working with big data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.) and data processing tools (e.g. Pandas) is a must
  • Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Looker/Data Studio, etc.)
  • Experience in performing data extraction from data warehouses / lakes
  • Working experience in using digital marketing tools – e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Analytics and Facebook Ads, DCM/Campaign Manager, Social Media listening tools – is advantageous
  • API experience with any of the above tools is a definite plus
  • Experience in database management and warehousing is advantageous
  • Experience in data science project is advantageous
  • Fluent in English with good written communication
