THE ROLE

Had the itch to bring a company to the ‘next level’? What about associating yourself with an established ‘Fintech’ group, which is backed by world-renowned Investors. As a Head of Marketing, you will own the development and execution of the overall Marketing strategy for CompareHero. You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders across functions both on a Local and Regional level. You will also be expected to think and act as a Business Owner. We are looking for established individuals who possess hands-on experience with Content creation, a strong understanding of SEO & Performance Marketing, Leadership experience and a personal ambition to grow with CompareHero. You will report directly to the Group Head of Marketing.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by MoneyHero Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on MoneyHero Group’s behalf.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

YOUR TASK

  • Develop and execute holistic Marketing strategies
  • Lead the Marketing Team based on overall communication and engagement, goal setting, coaching, career development planning, scaling/growing the Team and recruiting as required
  • Be a part of CompareHero’s Leadership Team – responsible for co-owning the Market level P&L, setting strategic directions, building partner relationships and leading by example
  • Manage tactical Marketing campaigns including ideation, planning/target setting by channel (including Paid Marketing strategy), creative development, measurement, execution and post campaign reporting/analysis
  • Own the brand activation across channels with a constant lookout for new opportunities
  • Build and deliver Content strategy which helps mold the Brand and grow organic Site Traffic
  • Expand on the long-lasting relationships with the internal stakeholders which have already been built.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Min. 8 years of Digital Marketing and Strategy experience; including hands-on roles which cover Content and Brand Marketing with a solid understanding of Paid Media and SEO
  • Deep knowledge of the local market – Media Sales, Banking/Finance, Insurance, FinTech, Telco or Digital
  • Experience in developing Content in the personal finance industry or at an early stage technology company
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Comfortable and effective in communicating business ideas and strategies
  • Able to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to communicate in Malay and Chinese is a plus
